Programme Highlight
The briefing will provide a comprehensive overview of the latest
hydrogen development and hydrogen trial projects in Hong Kong. The safety requirements for vehicle hydrogen
system and hydrogen filling stations together with QRA requirements, which have
been developed by benchmarking with Mainland and international practices and
standards, will be shared in the briefing.
The briefing will also outline the regulatory framework specifically
tailored for the governance of hydrogen safety and the proposed legislative
amendments to Gas Safety Ordinance (Cap. 51), covering the importation,
manufacture, storage, transport, supply and use of hydrogen as fuel in Hong
Kong.
